Melanie was born and raised in Nova Scotia where she completed her undergraduate degree at Acadia University and her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University in 2009. She moved to BC in 2012 where she fell in love with all things mountain biking including Enduro racing. In 2021 she moved north on a whim and hasn’t looked back.

Melanie has worked in a variety of health care settings including private practice, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and community care. She has had a wide scope of practice in her career so far and is always seeking to expand her knowledge. She has done courses in neurodevelopmental training, wheelchair prescription, home modification, concussion, cognition, and Adult ADHD.
