Kate McArthur, BSc KIN DPT

Kate McArthur was born and raised in Whitehorse. Kate grew up swimming with the Whitehorse Glacier Bears Swim Club, later becoming a swim coach and lifeguard at the CGC while in high school. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta in 2016 and her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in Queensland, Australia in 2019.

Kate grew her post-graduate skills for a year at a specialist paediatric physiotherapy practice in Brisbane, Australia before returning to the Yukon in 2020. Kate has worked with a variety of clients, from newborn babies to young adults, and various medical conditions. Kate plans to continue post-graduate courses specializing in paediatrics. Her interests are stand-up paddleboarding, running, cross country skiing, and playing video games when she has the time to spare.
