Deep Core Strengthening

April 26 Update!!!!!!

Due to popular demand Mary Egan is offering another Deep Core strengthening class.

This class is going to focussed on Core Restoration, Low Pressure Fitness, and proper Pelvic Floor Health.  This will be a small group class limited to only 6 participants and will take place at the CGC PhysioPlus clinic.

Learn a revolutionary way to strengthen your inner core muscles to:

  • improve athletic performance
  • decrease bladder leakage
  • reduce low back pain
  • improve prolapse

Instructor: Mary Egan, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.

When: Mondays 6-7 pm at CGC Physio Plus, May 7, May 14, May 28 and June 4 (no classes on May 21 due to the holiday)

Size: Limit 6 participants

Cost: $100

Functional Strengthening

Erica VanVlack’s Total Body Conditioning classes start the week of March 5th and go to April 27th

This round there will be 8 sessions of each class in order to get you ready for another Yukon summer of golfing, mountain biking, running and all activities.

Benefits of strength training include increased muscular strength, increased energy, improved digestionm improved intellectual capacity.  Committing to do something for yourself through exercise provides respite from the constant intellectual tasks we put ourselves through in everyday life.

Class sizes are restricted to a maximum of 8 participants in order to maintain a high quality and allow Erica to focus on correcting any deficiencies or modifying the exercises for each individual.

Monday evenings               7:30pm – 8:30pm for 8 weeks (Full)

Wednesday mornings       6:30am – 7:30am for 8 weeks (Full)

Thursday evenings            7:15pm – 8:15pm for 8 weeks (Full)

Location: CGC clinic

Cost: $160 per session
